Mike Macdermid 0:12

Hello and welcome to episode number 28 of the Nintendo Switch UK podcast. I'm Mike. I'm Al I'm Anton and we're back

Anton Winters 0:21

it's it's been a while we took a little break because of the sway summer and totally didn't have a studio in place.

Mike Macdermid 0:30

No, you're absolutely right. It was all to do with the summer nothing to do with the fact that last week my studio was in bits because I was getting it painted and carpets and it's in my house. I was getting the whole the upstairs in the house done. So it's just been rebuilt. In fact, it was rebuilt today.

Al Struthers 0:44

But it looks good, but actually it better than it looks good. Smells good. And it feels good. You have no idea of softness carpet. Yeah,

Mike Macdermid 0:50

it's lovely. It's nice new carpet. But also, I think I've just got things space a little bit better. You put your laptop on the desk this time I

Al Struthers 0:56

do is not my me. This

Mike Macdermid 0:58

is this is life changing. You don't have to put it on your keyboard, my keyboard even so that's good. So

Al Struthers 1:02

good job. Well done. Well, thank you very much.

Mike Macdermid 1:04

So before we get started, a couple of things to remind you of we are on social media. We're on Twitter, it's ns UK podcast on Twitter. Apologies we haven't replied because I did see a tweet out this week. I think asking for our recommendations and the sale and by the time I got to it, I think the sale was pretty much over so I haven't got back to I don't know if you got a chance to look at that Anton. I've been like, off the grid. Just like hacker hacker man don't exist on the internet. That's a shame. I've missed everything. I didn't spend that time. I wish I sold a sale. That would have been fun. Yeah,

Al Struthers 1:35

epic fail chaps. You guys are supposed to be on the button when it comes to social media normally

Mike Macdermid 1:39

are very good. But it has been a couple of weeks where we've just been so busy. And I saw it and thought all better reply to that. And then at the time, I remembered forgotten. But we have had an email from I think our further listener yet. So yes. You deal with emails, you don't do Twitter,

Al Struthers 1:58

I deal with emails because I'm old and grumpy and authentic Stanford social media works. But yeah, we got a fantastic email in from Mark Hyman who is literally, as you said about as far away from us as it's possible to get without leaving the planet. Yeah, he's from Brisbane in Australia. So thank you very much from emailing from all the way over there. Always cool to hear from listeners. And if you want to send us an email, feel free to do so the email is podcast at ns Uk p.co. uk. Yeah. While he might be correcting us on a small boo boo.

Mike Macdermid 2:26

Was it was it that was that the tone? Was he like, you know what, this is not acceptable.

Unknown Speaker 2:31

It was a bit it was very polite.

Al Struthers 2:33

It was a very, very pretty colour correction was next year. Yeah. But no, he pointed out that when we were talking about the switch light, which I'm going to refer to as many as well, we've covered this. Yeah. When you're talking about switch like we were talking about the Pokemon specialisation and we thought it came bundled with the game.

Mike Macdermid 2:48

But it doesn't know I did spot that as well. Actually, that doesn't.

Al Struthers 2:52

Again, yeah, so we made a boo boo, and we're correcting it. So everybody out there. It doesn't come with a game you have to buy this happen. I

Mike Macdermid 2:57

kind of feel it. Nintendo should apologise, I think should come bundled with a game.

Unknown Speaker 3:01

I agree. Actually, if you

Mike Macdermid 3:02

Yeah. What do you think? Anton?

Anton Winters 3:04

Yeah, obviously, like we're, I completely appreciate count the feedback. And we're right to be kept correct on this. But I could see a parent picking this up. Like it's called the logo on the books. It's designed that's themed around that and it's calculate the sandwich practices with limited editions. Yeah. You know, devils, blaming Nintendo. Yeah,

Mike Macdermid 3:24

yeah, I kind of think you're right that on your because I think that is the thing is it is going to be confusing for some parents that it doesn't come with a game, but hey, listen, it's it's going to sell well, whatever happens.

Al Struthers 3:34

It is big. And the other thing that mark pointed out, he did it in math, or if you're American, you did the math. And the switch taxes live and well, particularly in Australia. So the switch light retails in America at hundred $99. Yep. If you convert that to Australian dollars, it should be 285. But it's not. It's 330. I wonder why I'd love to go white. Whose decision is is it Nintendo's? Is it some tax thing? I wonder what what the reason is?

Mike Macdermid 4:05

Probably attack, I would have thought it will be attacked an important type thing. Anton, what do you think? Yeah, I think I'm also wondering,

Anton Winters 4:12

with Kendall, Australia being a lot more isolated on the map, if it's maybe just an egg, like an import export tax situation where close it's such a smaller body of land rather than shipping to the whole of Europe, like shipping it to one self, very large island. But I'm wondering if that the Import Export tax has anything to do with it?

Mike Macdermid 4:36

Maybe maybe? No, either way. It's not good news, in that sense, but it's good news that it's coming anyway. So you know, we'll all get a chance to check out the light. And if you are one of the one of the people who are excited for that, then you'll be very excited about that. If you're not well, we've got some classic switch news, which is what we're going to start this week's news with the classic switch which I love that term, that's what we have. Right? I am in the right, same page as you guys.

Unknown Speaker 5:02

Yeah, definitely. Yeah, we went to class,

Mike Macdermid 5:03

we have the classic.

Anton Winters 5:06

Like a fame lane, it gets better with age.

Mike Macdermid 5:08

Well, here's the thing because it is getting better with age, although the classics, which is kind of like classic two point O because they're going to be revising it with new packaging and new CPU better battery life. And I just say we call this we say,

Al Struthers 5:22

exactly we're going to do to do. And if we'd had a show last week, we would have said, we were right.

Mike Macdermid 5:27

Yeah. I'm not surprised. But it does leave questions about the pro life, you know, where's the pro going? And also, here's the question for you, Anton. If you are really only bothered about battery life, if that's your main concern, and one of the reasons you're thinking about going for a pro, do you just go for a new version of the switch the classic switch and sell your one and buy one for not much more? Because it will be essentially the same price? Or do you wait and see what the Pro has to offer?

Anton Winters 5:56

You know, it's interesting, close the the 14th point five to nine hours compared to the sick the 2.5 to 6.5 hours, I feel takes the switch to a level where it's kind of outside of the realm of the average player, like I feel like a lot like a flight or account commuting or whatever it may be, I could see myself hitting a lot of people hitting that field remark. The 4.5 is just like that teensy bit further where I think it does add a lot of value. But again, at Sam, I think the cost of upgrading if you've already cost which is probably not 100% worth it. And just in terms of how many games you could get. And I think maybe if you've already got the switch and you're playing keep it, maybe a scan of light and just adding versatility to yourself. Maybe a better value for money. But overall, just probably waiting for the pool is probably where I'm at and I imagined Yeah. Especially Alistair I imagine that's where your mind would be more.

Al Struthers 7:00

Yeah, pretty much I mean, I i've never run into a battery problem yet with a switch in that if I've gone for a flight state to London or wherever I've been. I've always had enough battery or I've been able to get to a charger without any issue. Have you ever run out of battery? On my switch? Yeah, no,

Mike Macdermid 7:14

there's a couple of good portable chargers that anchor and portable charger. So the biggest ones that you can get without being a problem for flying and they'll charge your switch twice fully. And you know, you can get them for like 3040 quid or something. Yeah,

Al Struthers 7:28

I don't think it's it's certainly not going to make me go ahead and buy a switch. Although I think I think you'd heard that it was different packaging I think it's exactly the same packaging I think the only difference the only way you will tell them is you've got different serial numbers. Okay. So if you go and buy a new one, check the serial number before you buy it which is a very difficult thing to do. It

Mike Macdermid 7:46

used to be a thing back in the early days of consoles and computers 80s and 90s that used to get different packaging for the same thing so on the spectrum for example can I use get three or four different designs over the years for essentially the same product so I would be interesting if they do anything else different apart from the serial number but did you think they were going to or is it just to see it all number thing on Oh,

Anton Winters 8:08

yeah, we have seen the the packaging it Sam it's it's similar to the existing one but it's a rather than the existing one that has that candle of the switch the colour gradient thing on the screen on a white background if swapped out for red background and the angle and scaling slightly that front, but to somebody who doesn't already know what the existing switch packaging was like? You wouldn't know that this one's a new one

Mike Macdermid 8:34

and the non graphic designer I that's what that is. That's people that really know their you know,

Al Struthers 8:40

should we do a public service things you actually see what the different serial numbers are going to

Mike Macdermid 8:43

do? So the

Al Struthers 8:45

old serial numbers, they started XAW the new serial numbers began with XKW so they go for next KW. That's a new cool excellent

Anton Winters 8:55

Yeah, cafe on the topic of battery life's Tony skies. Like I feel like what's the switch at Sam? Like it's not really a problem if it runs out she just like grown adult can you forget about and then you're like, Oh, it's fully charged again? Yeah, yeah. It's interesting because I'm looking at the little light even what better battery life for the switch? I'm like, Oh, no, it's a problem because when that runs out of charge, you have to like fumble or find your charger unless you have like a dedicated docking station which I think if you're you're saving money and going for the light I don't see many people having

Mike Macdermid 9:28

that's a really good point actually. And it's one that I hadn't actually really thought about until you've you've just said to me probably because I'm not thinking about getting a light but it is true because I'll play at night handheld and then when I leave in the morning for work I'll put it in the in the dock and then I'm home and it's ready to go again. Guess it's no

Al Struthers 9:49

different to Wilberforce was it when it gets it's just

Mike Macdermid 9:51

so easy. I mean, for example, I bought a new I've upgraded my iPhone for the first time and since I've gone for the success of the XR because my success was falling apart and the biggest difference and actually it's not the iPhone itself which I think is great but it's not that it's the charging dock that I can use as got one of the ones where you just put it down and started charging you to really

Al Struthers 10:10

watch you I was just about to make that point when they should have done the switch well that's that's what

Mike Macdermid 10:14

this is the equivalent of to me is the doc does the same thing you don't have to think about a girl who got plug or plug in where's the plug it's in the same place

Anton Winters 10:23

Yes, cuz I don't even know it's like count like I feel like wife of BR 3ds or something like that it's easy to get into habits like us round charges to in this case and then you go to play and you're like oh so charge yeah as you say my kids scale having a permanent place for it makes it so much easier.

Mike Macdermid 10:40

Definitely I agree entirely well hopefully they'll think about that and maybe make it a nice easy charging experience for the light owners

Al Struthers 10:50

yes and actually not would be nice if it was longer lasting joy cons stick with better battery and then

Mike Macdermid 10:54

yes stick them in them but but interestingly with the joy cons couple of bits of fashion we're gonna talk about joy con us a little bit later on but there are going to be new joy con bundles and October we're going to get Purple and orange and dark blue neon yellow, which means that will have over 100 combinations of joy icons. I love the fact that we have lots of different colours. I know you don't care, Alistair, but I love that.

Al Struthers 11:13

Yeah, I thought we'd already hit on two combinations while ago

Anton Winters 11:17

I think we're pretty close. Either way there's a lot of combinations. Yeah, it's cool it's great.

Mike Macdermid 11:23

I the one thing I don't like is the price I think the price is still too high Yeah, I bought the yellow ones quite a while now probably a year and a bit ago and I don't regret it but it was expensive and it was a real treat. It was around about a birthday or something

Al Struthers 11:36

well you know the only reason I've not bought Mario Party is because to buy Mario Party I've got to buy more joy con so instead of cost me 32 quid it's going to cost me what make decent liquid just to play Mario Party. I'm not doing that. Why? Because you gotta buy extra Jacobs OIC right to play it. Yeah. And I know how. So? Yeah. Although I'm putting for the first launch the switch. I remember thinking I wouldn't agree which icons still better I did as well. Yeah. And then I bought the one with orange and blue. And I'm so pleased because it makes me so happy. I'm California.

Mike Macdermid 12:01

Yeah. Yeah. What about you, Anton? Are you into the joy con

Anton Winters 12:04

life? I love it. The only thing I wish I wish there were more because like, you look at Xbox and PlayStation now. Like, they're releasing a new limited edition like Xbox controller every couple months, and then tend to considering their reputation with the handhelds have been a lot slower than I would have expected. And yeah, at least in colours. The one thing I was wishing for is what's the is releasing a toolbar and camp releasing next another game we're going to get to. And I can feel like these are accounts the Halloween themed ones, like was the kill orange and purple and stuff like that. And I just can't wish the way that like glow in the dark ones. I think they'll be Yeah,

Mike Macdermid 12:44

that would be great. I'll be I'll be completely up for that. Especially playing them at night. I

Al Struthers 12:49

know your wife even more.

Mike Macdermid 12:51

Is that possible? Right then move on to some kind of random out of the blue news that we got just a couple of days ago. And there's quite a lot to this. But basically we've got Doom Doom two and doom three on the switch. And I was so excited about this because Doom is the first first person shooter game I ever played. It was also the first one that I played on a PC fact it was my dad's laptop. He had an expensive laptop at the time and he could run doom and it's just a great blast from the past and not doing anything fancy with it. It's just a straight up poor it's not remaster and I'll be getting Doom doom and doom three which is quite a bit later on. So Doom one and doom to feel very similar. I think Doom two is using the same system as do one but certainly Doom three is different, but you will pay more for Doom three so 399 for doom and doom. And Doom three is 799 you get all the DLC included a couple of issues, though, that people have talked about First of all, was this sign in that Bethesda we're making us a mandatory one but it looks like it's not actually there on purpose. It looks like Anton the made a mistake.

Anton Winters 13:56

Yeah, I think everybody like the how the end people are downloads and then you had to mandatory sign into the face the net to do for whatever reason. But apparently that was just an accidental thing count similar to whole Xbox to their Xbox Live for Minecraft, where you sign in for fixing to cross. And you get rewarded on your professor calm for what games are. And it's all University synced. But yeah, that's you don't have to enter coming patch. And it seems like something they could easily patch out. But he's feeling all this. This is a lot of content. And the prices are not bad.

Mike Macdermid 14:29

I think for doom and doom two or 399. I mean, great. The biggest thing is you can get Doom on pretty much every going system. It's not a new thing. But it is a classic, and it's still playable. It's still a lot of fun. And it's 399. Now I had some points kicking about on my account, I think at two pounds of points that cost me one night nine or something. And it's just yeah, I'm just, it's great because I can play handheld. That's my biggest thing about it is I can go and have a bit of a to start your first handheld. I actually have Doom on the snares, which is one of the poorer ports but harder to get. And I have a bit of a collection of Mega Drive and snares games and I have it on the snares. And I tried to play it recently. And it was great because I could play it. But it was terrible. Because it was it was an amazing feat on the snares. But it was pretty tough. So this for me is great because I'm going to go and relive my childhood and that first experience of playing going What is this? How can you do this? This is amazing. So

Al Struthers 15:32

I remember the first time I played a do Muslim friends PC, it must be something like a 38 sexes maybe even before it sex is way way back. And it was it was good fun, but actually, I'm not going to buy them. Now it's good to know your money, which is my normal thing so tight. I'm happy leaving in the past. I don't want to ruin the memory of playing.

Mike Macdermid 15:53

Doom is one of those games though that doesn't feel like that it's still retro and it's still old. And it's there's lots of things you can do. But it's still got the same charm. It didn't in the first but I know what you mean, because there's a lot of games I've gone back to and gone. Well wish I hadn't bothered. Yeah, but I've played Doom recently. And I still really enjoyed it and I still want to play it because I want to play the game. Interestingly, I 2005 I worked on a cruise ship I was quite young, obviously. You know, obviously looking at me now.

Al Struthers 16:18

So because Mike actually doesn't know Mike looks like he's adorable. Maybe 18

Mike Macdermid 16:26

So anyway, so when I was on the cruise ship Anton I'm probably not told you the storey but one of the big things that the staff did I was singing and so we were part of the crew but the crew and the staff used to have two nights and we used to network all the PCs Yeah, we used to do that and we used to have a big rooms because obviously they had rooms for people to go online and all the rest of it but online was terrible because we're at sea in 2005 but we had them all linked up and we used to have do nights and proper competitions and was really appealing but this is that it's got online

Anton Winters 16:55

that is pretty cool. Yeah has all the multiplayer maps and see if see thing is the one game I would recommend all of these do free is I think a really underrated tale in there as

Mike Macdermid 17:09

what was the what's the origin of doom three because I had to look at it because I've never played it. I think if I remember correctly this was a good while after the first two

Al Struthers 17:19

years for thing was

Mike Macdermid 17:20

was ladies that was it because it looks great. I had to look at the someone playing it today on the switch. I just had a quick check of it and it looks really good.

Anton Winters 17:27

Yes, yeah, for me. I had some of these periods with your self like where the first version of doom I had played was like on the Gameboy make. It wasn't the most capable poor of it. But MKF similar to that at at Cal contrary to that doing free is not your classic Doom gameplay, which was polarising at the time, but retroactively, people came back to appreciate and it's a lot more contemporary as a Kathleen's a lot more into the survival horror elements of it. And an all state if you're okay with a horror game, it's one of the best and most impressive games of the Xbox original ps3 era is very impressive again to see it run at HD white screen. I think it's like the most I can't understand it of this launch like Doom Doom to as we've kind of illustrate that can run on anything but doom. Doom free running in HD looks very nice.

Mike Macdermid 18:29

Well, it did look good. I got to say on an actually when you consider that 799 for something that just thrown on there isn't actually all that bad. I've looked at it first time I was a bit high. But actually, we've seen ports that a lot more you know, pricey than that. And if it's something that you aren't getting, you certainly are getting at handheld in the same way elsewhere then then great then, you know, it's it's going to be on a lot of people's lists.

Anton Winters 18:51

And the thing amazing about this is it runs on the same console is the same calibre of titles the Resident Evil games, what shark and like charged Farragut pounds, so yeah, and those include DLC. So I would recommend that one that's a HH very well and it's not your classic Doom gameplay. Well, it's a little more horror. And yeah, that's it very exciting stuff to see.

Mike Macdermid 19:16

Very good. We've also got some potential Doom news in the Peggy have rated or the rating coming and there's leaks for Doom 64 No, that would be cool. Forget that on the switch.

Al Struthers 19:28

Yeah, anything from 64 is cool.

Mike Macdermid 19:30

Yeah, well, that's one of the ones again that I didn't play but I remember seeing at the time going wow, it's do but it looks better. And yeah, that would be really really cool. Anton, would you

Anton Winters 19:41

Yeah, this is interesting cuz I'm not 100% familiar with Tim six for Bob. And I'm trying to think what's it like a hybrid of one into plus extra surfer? Was it like its whole original game? I'm not 100%

Al Struthers 19:54

sure. I think it was an original game I owned it briefly but never really got into it. To my knowledge It was a completely bespoke doing. Oh, wow. I could be wrong if if I'm wrong, right. And let us know. I don't think emails Yeah, I get an email so you go podcaster an SUKPWK Go for it.

Mike Macdermid 20:09

Yeah, I think generally it's great to see more titles like this and I know we have this discussion about all the titles coming to you know, getting ports and I think of the price well then bring on any decent port really, as long as it's priced well and it's accessible. The store has a lot of stuff on there some of it good some of it bad and some of it completely indifferent. But I think when we're getting good strong ports like Doom for decent price, then then great bring on

Anton Winters 20:34

Yannick exciting stuff because this is Professor doing this. So hopefully if these games sale Well, we might see like some other kind of classic buffet style titles like I've never personally played like Elder Scrolls more when? Oh, yeah. Put on there for 799 similar to Doom free same sort of era. I would maybe give it a go.

Unknown Speaker 20:52

And yeah, absolutely.

Unknown Speaker 20:54

Absolutely. Sell your back character very give it to give us them all. good as them all. give you money. Yeah, exactly.

Mike Macdermid 21:01

Right. Okay, couple of things to update you on then. So we'll fire through some news, then we'll get into some rumours. And we will have the quiz as well. So if you are playing Crash Team Racing like I am good news, because we're getting a load, same update, basically, which is fantastic. Because a lot of times as astronauts from the time that he played it with me, are frustratingly slow.

Al Struthers 21:22

I got up drove home came back and I still haven't loaded.

Mike Macdermid 21:25

It is a great game. I have to say it's they've done such a good job of it. And I love the fact that we've already had updates. And I love the fact that it came out a couple of weeks ago and said yeah, don't worry, we're going to improve those little times. And they've done that kind of overclocking thing as far as I can see in the load time point over the overclocking the switch. I think that's how they're doing it. But great. I mean, this is fantastic. If you had a chance to play Anton and know.

Anton Winters 21:46

As a weird one. It's MI here this one hot like crushing racing seems to have a lot of rave reviews in their team Sonic racing, but at the same time, yeah, that was a whole new game. So I've just been sitting on the fence for a while just been like, Huh, Jordans for me.

Mike Macdermid 22:01

Well, I've got both and I honestly prefer crushed him racing. And that's, that's, you know, Sonic has its moments. My other half hates the new Sonic game. She loved the previous Sonic racing games. So, but she loves crushed in racing.

Anton Winters 22:16

Yeah, yeah. I'd be curious to give this one a go cuz I've only played the sequel to watch everybody seemed to not be quite a fan of so. enjoyed it. Yeah, MO I think it was natural cart or something.

Mike Macdermid 22:30

Okay, because there's a lot of the core courses in from I think it's crash bash as well. So. So it's like, yeah, there's 32 courses or something like that. So it's really good. It's a great value. There's so much content, so you won't you know, you won't be you won't go far wrong with it, to be honest. So another title that we had an announcement for actually, just after our last podcast just under two weeks ago, this was announced and it's a bit of a weird one because it's super monkey bowl, which is cool. And it's banana blue. HD, you know, banana Blitz. I think it was a we title. It wasn't one of the most obvious Super Monkey Ball titles Anton.

Anton Winters 23:07

Yeah, I care for the same thing. I was like, oh, people not like this one. But Calvin doing some digging around. from what I gather, it was like one of the most feature packed in content rich, so remarkable, but completely just made all full by force motion controls. And I'm with a game where you have to be super precise. And forcing a control method people are one not used to and not a fan of Captain go over well, but at this new switch versions looking really nice and graphically looks stunning. It looks like a lot of fun. It's reasonably priced. I think it's like the 24 pounds retail price. Yeah, I didn't look too bad. And at the end of the day, I think it has like the prettiest logo of 2019 It looks gorgeous. Yeah, could not look on a T shirt.

Mike Macdermid 23:58

I remember playing Super Monkey Ball in the past two years and been quite a fan of it. It's a lot of fun. It'll be like going back to a whole new game though. Because I haven't played banana Blitz. And it's been so long that it's very hard to really remember the experience but yeah, probably going to look at that.

Al Struthers 24:15

Funny. Sure. They played a major league Game Cube.

Mike Macdermid 24:17

Yeah, maybe maybe wasn't

Al Struthers 24:20

me it was it was a good game. I big remember getting quite frustrated. certainly didn't finish it. I know how much.

Mike Macdermid 24:25

I got frustrated. But then that's every game. What did what did you break we played the game keep the distance and how

Al Struthers 24:33

much anger something to build.

Anton Winters 24:36

Okay, that's one count. Another good thing about this one comment to switch. I think another reason why they may be chose this day on particular. It's a very good party game. And yes, hands up different modes. That's kind of one of the selling points of this one. So at this one could be a good one to destroy some friendships with so I won't get off top 14 and destroy. Oh, please do

Mike Macdermid 24:59

yeah, we're speaking of parties with a night last week with friends and Alice's house, actually. And we play the chat box party games. And we played I think I got three

Al Struthers 25:13

guys already. And I bought

Mike Macdermid 25:14

you bought two. And there's just great fun. I really recommend if you've got people coming, right especially if you've got a group of four or more I think you need for a month I played it with three the other day. And it's, it's just not the same because you need more people to play it. But if you've got a group of four people, it's a lot of fun.

Al Struthers 25:32

It is and it's a game that people who don't play games enjoy

Mike Macdermid 25:35

Yes, because you know, you just need a phone or an internet connexion or like an iPod or whatever. And you log in and you get your record and then from there you play the games and it's party games, and it's really good fun.

Al Struthers 25:47

So yeah, just learn learn to be routed again.

Mike Macdermid 25:49

Yes, basically the rudest wins. Right then as Louise mentioned three we've seen a bit more of this recently. I've got to say I'm liking the look of this and we now have a release date and well what do you no it's the 31st of October rings a bell that day. I wonder why that might be what they thought of you thinking I know it said the November the fifth it's just before then.

Al Struthers 26:11

Yeah, I'm gonna say I'm really looking forward to this game.

Mike Macdermid 26:13

I'm more looking forward to it now that I've seen more while I saw the

Al Struthers 26:17

only thing I've seen really I'm not seen this full trailer we've done since I saw the bed. Yeah, and I played the first one back in the game and actually quite enjoyed it. Yeah, whatever reason I can't remember I didn't get very far it and miss all the gatekeepers and I can't January cannot remember. Yeah, but this game does look like it's gonna be really good fun. It's cute. But yes, fun.

Mike Macdermid 26:35

Anton are you going to be buying?

Anton Winters 26:36

I'm on the I don't think I'll be buying maybe it maybe if I found it for sale. But you know, it does look gorgeous. I think the skyscraper mode and I'm not having a low positive reviews on the 3ds but as you can imagine corpse games never did quite well. Nicole on the 3ds so copia home console, you know it's it's an engaging thing. I think that I don't know this is like just me being paid but I'm just like releasing it on Halloween. I feel like you want it before Halloween so you can get that Halloween vape

Mike Macdermid 27:09

but by do though if you got it on Halloween and you got it delivered if you're buying physical or you get it from the store in the morning, you make very very exciting Halloween night

Al Struthers 27:20

during all the trick or treaters I'm sorry, I can couple the door I'm playing

Mike Macdermid 27:23

with the lights off. Yes. Okay, so we're going to fly through a few more of the news items just because we have a fair bit yet to get through. So next up we've got FI a European truck racing championship is coming to the switch on the fifth of August. I've seen the trailer for this and I kind

Unknown Speaker 27:39

of want to play it

Anton Winters 27:42

like it looks like such a Polish team. I don't know if this is just technology getting better, but it looks fairly polish and it looks like some competition.

Mike Macdermid 27:52

Yeah, yeah, I mean it's like racing trucks. I mean if that's not cool,

Al Struthers 27:56

what is it? It just looks stunning. It looks like so much fun. Yeah, trucks cool racing. Cool. Happy Hour. Yeah,

Anton Winters 28:03

thank you if you want more it turns out we've got trucking racing championship coming out equally in August

Mike Macdermid 28:09

and is that a different game altogether?

Anton Winters 28:12

I know like the trucking racing championship is like a more American Calif This is racing racing Work Health a phase a lot more simulation but they're both playing at serious or and like it's they're both fair like straight down the line simulation I think it's just a coincidence because they both got announced like two days will be teller so I think it came out that the announcement and then trucking racing championships to corner with the elbow.

Mike Macdermid 28:42

Yeah, well that's definitely not something that you hear of everyday to racing truck simulation type games coming out within the same month but excellent right next up Sega ages are putting columns to and it's coming soon so columns is a classic we're getting called too It's been a nights for Japan in the switch East shop are we getting it here as well and

Anton Winters 29:05

they haven't announced that but count the pattern usually as we've seen KG Cecile port to bring it on Japan without mentioning the European markets. And then like, like of the week of the release Leah notes of Western release and okay, but this is kind of what they're doing this when you you can't think it's such a simple game that could just do a remaster, but you know, I'm happy to see them getting some love quotes, especially for your account. For Sega Sega kids it's like such an iconic game no matter what yeah.

Mike Macdermid 29:37

Yeah, it always reminds me the Game Gear it's always the Game Gear I think when I think of columns, not columns to but when I think of columns I think of the Game Gear but yeah, classic title columns to interesting decision but why not? I mean, you know, it's another one to add to that collection as we said before, bring the ports if they're half decent, and I'm sure that columns to is is a half decent title. remember much about although do remember cold right next up Wolfenstein Youngblood

Al Struthers 30:03

good good like their

Mike Macdermid 30:05

trial edition thank you is fabulous has been listed on the shop now the interesting thing with the trial edition is that you can download it now and go and play it and it looks amazing by the way bought little warning 22 gig because I tried to download it and I went no I got it like delete like seven games while not delete them but just archive them

Anton Winters 30:25

and that's that's not that much for a demo but I guess I guess that's where we're at with the industry it makes me wonder what the Phil sides like a must be it must be are they just giving you the whole game and just locking off some of it but I yeah

Mike Macdermid 30:38

I wonder if maybe it's more likely that giving you the whole thing or given the size of cards

Al Struthers 30:43

it has to be the whole game with a bit

Mike Macdermid 30:45

could be double but it wouldn't make sense to give you half

Al Struthers 30:47

to be one these ones where you just download an activation call you pay full price get called pop it in and the whole thing's I'm not let's all be me.

Mike Macdermid 30:53

But yeah, it looks really good. It looks very polished. quite high hopes for again because the wolf of st titles recently have been excellent so yeah, so anyone going to be got probably won't get this straight off by

Al Struthers 31:06

one I'll keep an eye on I'm ashamed to admit I don't think I've ever played a Wolfenstein.

Mike Macdermid 31:11

Like doom.

Anton Winters 31:12

They're completely different franchise these days, but I played one of them recently. And it felt a bit just linear on court or couch shooting. And that was like I think it was the first of the spin off so like they did the main reboot that a small spin off before doing the big sequel and then we put

Unknown Speaker 31:32

those I

Anton Winters 31:34

add it was a bit linear and it was ok and I enjoyed it. However what I really have heard about this one and beyond just the additional praise of Wilson saints to in that hole that improved the franchise is that this one is a lot more open. And it's the first thing is done like an open roof and st sale game. And all right lyst linear. So I'm really excited to kind of give a goal and it hasn't got whitelist reviews but it's got very good reviews and I think to be honest just it's where we're at with a switch it's a nice change of pace so I think for a dedicated switch gamer I think from what I've heard, you'll be very happy with it. And if if you're on the fence It looks like you're covered was this trial edition which is great half

Mike Macdermid 32:20

is great when they do give you a chance to try before you buy an OB if it's 22 gig at the end of the day if you were going to buy it you're going to download 20 gigs worth of a game to trial it first so excellent decision from them and yeah looking forward to seeing how that is received. I did as a good download and just thought you know what too many other things to play right now. I just can't i can't i don't want to have to go re download everything anyway, speaking of re downloading stuff, if you bought Astro beers party when it came out, which you should avoid if you didn't then you're a fool. You should then good news as disoriented as Astro bears is now and it's a new version of it but you get it for free if you have the previous one you also get it free if you've got other titles. I can't remember what titles they were but it's 599 if you don't have any the titles that are listed, but certainly Astro beers, great party game we did it last week before we play the jack box came

Unknown Speaker 33:10

we did I've got a new favourite character.

Mike Macdermid 33:12

Yes, there's new characters in there. Which one's your favourite? Yeah, I like cyber because you get an extra life

Al Struthers 33:16

oh yeah terrible but you get extra life which saves the day.

Mike Macdermid 33:19

Yes, that is true. And you actually one I was last cyphers to pick the wrong one where there's a whole bunch of new characters there's new world there's new models move on is about like snake actually the challenge was was cool. So if you haven't checked out Astro bears and you're looking for a party game that you can play with two people or four people or three or whatever it's really really good

Al Struthers 33:39

right well worth it five nine today go buy it

Anton Winters 33:41

yep it's like I go to party game for myself I haven't tried this new version of I've got downloaded I'm just like waiting to help people over to just give it a go see a professional so like such good game and it's such a good value of 599 even know your people ours for like what 99 paints?

Mike Macdermid 33:58

Yeah, I know we'll leave the park version was really cheap. So you get a real bargain if you've got that already. And you're getting the new version for free. But the good thing is they haven't changed too much. It's not

Al Struthers 34:09

to gain we just added bits to it.

Mike Macdermid 34:11

Yeah, which is fantastic. So a couple of quick releases to let you know about voicera collection hits Japan on November the 14th I don't know anything about the facade collection. What is this Santo at

Anton Winters 34:23

that count really kind of beloved at top down heart like vertical Sure. It was only released in arcades as never had a home console release. And it came right at the shelf. The end of the arcade scene in Japan so true has count the pinnacle one of those Pinnacle games for that genre, and it's never seen a release on a home console. And as like we've seen with count great and what's the title and I can't remember the title binds we've seen a count vertical shares on switch work. Oh lovely. And so your account one this is only Japan only at the moment but if it does, well Fingers crossed we get over here because it looks to be golden.

Mike Macdermid 35:08

Excellent. Next up DC Universe Online hits the switch on August the sixth. So that's around about a week's time disorder weeks time. If you're a fan of that then you'll be able to get that very soon. I've seen a few things on this and it looks very polished on certainly the cut scenes look very polished probably won't be indulging I feel like it's one of those games that you need to invest a lot of time in

Anton Winters 35:32

Yeah, I've heard of Camp did some research on it seems like a game that you really have to think like your your several hundreds to maybe even thousands of our account be competitive. And it's been a it's an MMO that was started on the ps3 moved over to the ps4 and that's no expand into a sweat so there's been some people that have been in there for far too long.

Mike Macdermid 35:58

Yeah, well that's one to keep and I just over a week's time for that next up Pokemon jewel is coming to an end on October 31. So that is an interesting one if you are Pokemon juuling so you're not going to be able to do that as far as I know after October Is that how it works?

Anton Winters 36:16

Yeah, yeah, it's just that the apps it's also a mobile app camp released round the boat at the time frame will Pokemon Go and times to release your own Pokemon Gold a Pokemon get like app? probably not the best time so now it's I know.

Mike Macdermid 36:33

It's a shame is probably why we forgot about it. But there's another app that was doing a Pokemon thing.

Al Struthers 36:39

Nintendo Nintendo hardware. Yeah.

Mike Macdermid 36:42

All right. Speaking of that, just interesting bit of news before we move on to some rumours Nintendo has started repairing switch joy icon drift for free. And if you paid you'll get a refund but only in the US Yeah,

Al Struthers 36:56

and I'm thinking that appears on us as well. Indeed. Yes. There's a classic lawsuit been raised in the States against Nintendo for Joe contract. Right? Okay, I think this is this is maybe why Nintendo suddenly said there and start repaying them because of this lawsuit. I don't know which what the time frame was and which one came first It reminds me of the apple battery thing where this they started saying for a while you know, arcade will give into public pressure we're going to start repeating it for

Mike Macdermid 37:19

20 quid

Al Struthers 37:19

Yeah, I don't intend to put a statement saying we are aware of this and we're looking at looking at it it was a very blahs a nonspecific didn't see and type thing too soon gathers an issue we're looking at.

Mike Macdermid 37:27

It's kind of a shame that nintendo didn't come out as soon as they knew there was a joy con drift issue for something that kinda did the sweeping under the carpet thing a little bit. And I think now that it's being reported, more and more people are, you know, obviously, there's been something raised as well in America. I think the problem is that no, it doesn't feel like Nintendo really did what I would have kind of hoped Nintendo would do in the first place know

Al Struthers 37:52

where they did do what I sort of expected in 10. Yes, yes. I agree. I mean, the Nintendo at the end of the day, their business and actually quite a

Unknown Speaker 37:59

holiday college.

Al Struthers 38:02

They're they're happy go lucky in front. Yeah. When you step behind the curtain, they're actually quite ruthless.

Mike Macdermid 38:07

Yeah, that's why they got so much money. Yeah, it's a shame, though. I mean, I have a bit of joy Kwan drifts with one of my icons, and it doesn't know me that that the, you know, we possibly won't get this option that the Americans will have to do over Europe. Do

Al Struthers 38:23

you think so? If enough people complain, they'll have to do something about it. I mean, they fixed the issue of the cause of disconnecting quietly in the background. Remember, that used to be an issue and launched? That's right. You don't really hear about it anymore. So guess it was a patch to fix that?

Mike Macdermid 38:35

Probably. Yeah. Anton. Have you had any problems with content? Yeah,

Anton Winters 38:38

I've caught on my left at joy con at just randomly, it'll go hard down and just look and I just need to like, disconnect look it back into place account the sink and rethink it. But um, it's really I don't know about yourselves. I think this quite a frustrating situation. A switch on our costs. And we're going here and on campus, this globalised, we have the internet, we have this inner nation available. And we're seeing Nintendo actively and kill admit that there's a problem here and bow down to a class action lawsuit. But just because we don't have one here, and our region, they're like, yes, no problem here.

Mike Macdermid 39:24

Yeah, yeah. It is. Yeah, it is very much done to legal stuff. At the end of the day, you know? Yeah.

Al Struthers 39:30

Yeah. We'll see what happens over the next couple of weeks. Probably.

Mike Macdermid 39:33

Yeah. All right. Look, let's move on. Because I want to get through these rumours before the quiz. So next up, we got some rumours. Okay, first off, there was I don't know if you saw this storey I think it's a fabulous storey. But there was Southwest flight in America and everyone on the flight. Got a free Nintendo Switch. How lucky to be on that flight that day, Anton.

Anton Winters 39:57

I don't know who I find funny. Like who would want to be like the person who's like one it's like, once a switch? Or that just like grandmother's like, what is this? What are you handing me? You're you're expecting me to hold this entire fight? Yeah. So Chelsea called Super Mario Maker to as well and

Mike Macdermid 40:16

what was it just a publicity thing? Was it just to kind of, you know, talk about Super Mario Maker and the new new bundle was at the

Anton Winters 40:22

thing, you know, originally a fault that and then I'm like, I wonder if it was half that and then half of them just getting rid of these bolts like, less good battery switches that they've just gotten a warehouse to make new ones.

Mike Macdermid 40:36

You might be right, actually, you might be right. Yeah, interesting, but well done to everyone who did guess which? We're not jealous? No. I mean, we have a switch.

Al Struthers 40:45

But you know, I don't need a second one. I'm happy with one.

Anton Winters 40:47

One is good. only have one hand. I only need one. Oh, wait.

Mike Macdermid 40:53

Yeah, no, that's that's very true. Right. Next up we got some cat quests, potential news because I have cat question. Do you have cat quest?

Al Struthers 41:01

I do not have cat quest

Mike Macdermid 41:02

stars. You valley with cats? Kind of Not really. It's kind of like a life sim for a cat. It's really cool.

Al Struthers 41:07

It's just not the same. Cool, Mike.

Mike Macdermid 41:09

It's great. I'm trying to think of it is actually cat quest or is one of the other

Al Struthers 41:12

dogs. I'm allergic to cats. Actually. I'm sort of sneezing.

Mike Macdermid 41:15

I'm starting to wonder if it's not calculus. Yeah.

Anton Winters 41:16

It's like an RPG.

Mike Macdermid 41:19

What's the other cat one then? Oh, um,

Anton Winters 41:22

there's two men and cat.

Al Struthers 41:25

Movies and there was

Mike Macdermid 41:26

the one I've got the perfect one.

Anton Winters 41:29

Per

Al Struthers 41:32

Lucky me. Will you do? A cat

Mike Macdermid 41:33

quest two is coming in the third quarter. 2019 we think that cat quest I have remembered you're absolutely right is an RPG which I think is on mobile as well.

Al Struthers 41:41

No, no idea,

Mike Macdermid 41:42

isn't it? I think it is. But anyway, cat quest two is coming. any interest in that one. And I'm not

Anton Winters 41:47

100% familiar. I believe it's, it's coming. And I'm not too sure about it. I hear a lot of good things about and it's like one of the few NBA games that go up to we have a physical release level. So I'm sure there's some fans out there.

Mike Macdermid 42:03

Okay, next up, we've got a game coming to the switch and late 20 1919 we think and getting a physical release as well. And if this does happen, I know they'll be a lot of happy people. Because if you're a fan of Theme Hospital, then there's a game called two point hospital. And I think this came out of PC. It was a Kickstarter or something.

Al Struthers 42:22

No, no, the guys who are three guys who were in blue Frog Went off and started some way to the studio actually started

Unknown Speaker 42:31

to play studio.

Mike Macdermid 42:32

I remember this being a thing. And it was a PC release, wasn't it?

Al Struthers 42:35

It was Yeah, get on Steam now. Yeah. But it is basically few hospital. Yeah, it's team hospital for a new generation. And it's so it's

Mike Macdermid 42:42

so fantastic that it's come to such because it's one of the games that is so perfect for the switch. I mean Theme Hospital I'm talking about. So I have experienced. But yeah, I think this is going to find a real audience. Anton.

Anton Winters 42:53

Oh, yeah, I'm so excited. I just know, like one of my favourite games as say, skylines, and just having that. That management cell game on the switches cell phone, like it works wonderful for pickup and play. And just count having something a little bit mindless is no action packed, you can build your hospital. And that's it seems like a very faithful match to the team hospital games. It looks great.

Mike Macdermid 43:17

Yeah, it looks fantastic. I'm definitely going to be interested in that. Speaking of management type games, one of the games on the sale right now on the store. And I know it's still on sale, it certainly was earlier today, that being Sunday, is 911 operator, no 911 operator, basically, you play a 911 operator, and you have to send off the different you know, the fire and the police two different jobs, but it's got actual voices of people calling and it's quite well voice acted. And it's actually really quite interesting. And you can get the whole bundle and all the DLC, which I missed. I just bought the main game for the DLC package as well. And it's something like 290 or something like that. Yeah, and it's time for like 20 quid,

Al Struthers 43:58

I might go and check that and if

Mike Macdermid 44:00

you like that kind of game where you're kind of controlling stuff and you send things off to different places. So this is the police's, the closest thing I can think it doesn't have the storyline element. But what it does have is the real management and trying to kind of, you know, suss out who goes where I had a quick shot of it because I downloaded it and it looks great. It sounds great. I need to play with headphones First of all, because I think that part of the experience and the second thing you need to do is get my head around the system and where everything goes Anton did you spot that Yeah,

Anton Winters 44:29

and one of our lovely listeners to paint shipwreck on Twitter account recommended it to us and I saw it and I was a lieutenant it seemed really interesting but I wasn't too sure but MA obviously accounts that bundle with all the DLC is a great price but I've recently they the solo game itself is just 99 p if you're selling the fan so that could be

Mike Macdermid 44:51

why so I went for Yeah, I'm pants I thought I can't really

Al Struthers 44:54

you can't say no to that. can't really go wrong with that. So

Mike Macdermid 44:58

by two points hospital All right. You want talk about this

Al Struthers 45:00

game? coming to the end of the end of the years? What late 2019 but it's a long as it's got booty head or something similar to booty, hasn't it? I'll be happy. Don't have no the head. I'll be comfy.

Mike Macdermid 45:11

It'll be something like that grumpy head. Maybe something's gonna be funny. If you like those kind of games, as well, you mentioned city skylines. Anton It's getting a retail release of city skylines

Anton Winters 45:21

scaling out need to buy a game like coffee. You need it.

Mike Macdermid 45:27

I thought you might be interested in that Okay, so we look like we're getting game called bakery simulator coming to the switch in 2020 so I can almost smell how good that game will be.

Anton Winters 45:37

It is ridiculous. Imagine if you took em. Goat Simulator made it first person then turned it into a bacon game is that is amazing. So broken, but I'm kind of feeling the energy of it. And everything's falling apart. And it's kind of similar to MA cooking simulator. If you've recently seen that game that came up with recently it's it's going for that AWS broking county court similar way so and I think we'll need to wait and see reviews if it's just broken broken or so broken it's fun but you know bring a switch I would love cooking simulator and switch as well.

Al Struthers 46:17

Yeah, I would love if you did something random for the cartridges you know the switch cartridges tastes horrible. You might

Unknown Speaker 46:23

like brands

Mike Macdermid 46:26

that be a terrible terrible idea unsafe for so

Al Struthers 46:29

many reasons have been rubbish used to be a good reason to go and buy the game

Mike Macdermid 46:32

Yep, I've been probably so Amazon UK have listed the ninja saviours Return of the Warriors physical release for August the 30th so in about months time so I think we can safely say that there's a good chance that that will be coming as a retail release so if you're interested in that then keep an eye on that one. Anyone played that game? Oh,

Anton Winters 46:54

I looked up but it's kind of escaped my mind that counts seemed like your classic metal Jackie Gaden sale game I'm not familiar.

Mike Macdermid 47:04

Yeah, no, it's not one I'm Joe I'm gonna do I'm gonna fire through a couple other ones and then one other topic and room that I want to discuss so just very quickly, fishing star world tour is getting label support. Pokemon rumble rush is now available to download from the Apple Store. Obviously not strictly switch but something for you to check out if you're a fan and regarding the last $100 million in player spending so I'm assuming that this Anton just briefly on this that's the that's the mobile one isn't it?

Anton Winters 47:33

Yeah and so it's written like hundred mil which makes it the second most successful and Nintendo mobile game next to fire out is incredible what just kind of centrist I sees it on mobile isn't a lot of Nintendo's a franchisees that are making the big bucks so

Mike Macdermid 47:50

you're wondering why they did it 100 million wow why

Al Struthers 47:53

but just don't yeah a

Mike Macdermid 47:57

Disney's some to some festival I can never be I was it some some some Zoom zoom zoom some some some some important festival Japanese only limited edition we're getting for that which will be a shame for us but you could also

Anton Winters 48:11

get a feel limited edition consoles and pink and purple right the whole console. Oh right. Oh, that was the prey one isn't just a joy because it's got like a kill Dolly can't check pattern on the joy comes now

Mike Macdermid 48:26

I want that. Oh, there we just show me a picture. Oh, that

Al Struthers 48:29

is cool. No, it's not.

Mike Macdermid 48:31

It's not it's really I'm with you. And you guys are just

Al Struthers 48:35

yeah, it's mugs

Mike Macdermid 48:36

mugs. It looks amazing right anyway next up Zumba burn it up coming to switch on the 19th of November we don't need to burn out because it's really warm in the studio tonight because the weather has been roasting and toasting hot so no zoom before us this evening. But it's okay because it doesn't come out to the 19th of November. Very quickly against Celeste Instagram account has started up again which points to the potential of maybe some fairly well DLC I know that that will interest a lot of people brilliantly reviewed I think you're a big fan Anton oh so good.

Anton Winters 49:06

Just give it to me now.

Mike Macdermid 49:08

Go with that on an AK is European physical release is exclusive to the Square Enix store which means you're only going to get 3000 copies so if you are a fan of that game which again is pretty well review game then you can check out if you're a fan 3000 copies available that I would if I was a bigger fan I would be right on that read mother's tormented father's has been pushed back to August the 30th 2019 for fine tuning So to be honest songs together for Halloween it'll it'll do fine because it's that kind of vibe that Hattori, I think, from what I've seen of it. All right, Nintendo, the so this is what I wanted to discuss. Before we move on to the quiz. Nintendo was keeping a close watch on streaming. Says doc Bowser, no. Are we talking here, Anton about things that Netflix? sadly not?

Anton Winters 49:54

The easiest thing to keep your eyes on in many different ways. True. We're talking count here. Books explode your stadium.

Mike Macdermid 50:02

Okay, so we're talking games, streaming games?

Anton Winters 50:05

Yeah. I think this is more like a keep keep the investors happy sort of answer. Okay,

Mike Macdermid 50:12

yeah. It's a shame because I know, don't get me wrong. I'm absolutely happy for us to have streaming available on the switch of you know, Playstation four tight games. That's fine. But I would just really like to have the Netflix app. Can we not just have Netflix? But anyway, we've covered this before. I know. But come on. I've got my hopes up when he says keeping a close watch on streaming. And

Al Struthers 50:34

they have also said that not doing streaming anytime soon. They're just going to keep an eye on it. See? The recognised instals going that way, but they're not ready to embrace it.

Anton Winters 50:41

Yeah, good. I have a theory was the the streaming sale stuff. And I don't think it's a bad idea we all want. And, of course, it's counter counter play some more hopeless one. I think with the fact that we've got YouTube we've got Nico, Nico. And this nice Disney plus a streaming service coming soon. And it from Disney being all confirmed with apps, some having a Disney coming. And I have a feeling that maybe prime and Netflix are just not interested in bringing it to the switch. Maybe.

Unknown Speaker 51:15

Maybe, maybe

Anton Winters 51:16

Yeah, I think with us all having mobile phones, investing on other platforms, just not maybe just not interesting them. Which is a shame. It just it's a shame because you can get on everything else. You know, for me it

Mike Macdermid 51:31

maintains But anyway, yeah, bring give us Netflix, please. Thanks. All right. Okay, let's move on to the quiz.

Unknown Speaker 51:40

So,

Mike Macdermid 51:41

Anton, are you are you being a quiz host? Because I hope so.

Unknown Speaker 51:44

Of course.

Mike Macdermid 51:45

I'm glad. I'm glad you said that. Because otherwise I was gonna have to do some really quick preparations to find some questions. And it wouldn't have been a good quiz. So what's what's the plan this weekend? Yes. So

Anton Winters 51:56

if you're not familiar with the quiz, it works as I guess I have a series of games lined up. And I give a hint. And then the one of our two wonderful contestants will, Watson. And guess which Taylor is one guest pair. Hint. And then this goes round for free rounds. And whoever is the winner gets the mystical trophy of the last envoy mail warehouse.

Mike Macdermid 52:24

Excellent. So all right, well, I'm ready to go for this. I'll start you.

Al Struthers 52:29

Mike Macdermid 53:33

Al Struthers 53:35

Anton Winters 54:35

With the quiz, when we have one person with two points, we go to the vote the next round, which is the wild card rounds. sad is that

Mike Macdermid 54:44

I need the wild card round is my only chance of ever winning anything and

Al Struthers 54:48

it's good point as you know, you.

Mike Macdermid 54:51

Carry on.

Al Struthers 55:01

Mike will get grumpy if he doesn't win.

Mike Macdermid 55:06

Mike Macdermid 55:35

Oh, yeah, nearly it's really good is a very good game. I'm enjoying it very much recommend that and your list of games that you may have missed, because maybe that's something we can look at some points actually games on the store that you might miss because I saw any games

Al Struthers 55:48

on there. And we'd find some new ones to recommend because we recommend seeing games over and over again. That's because

Mike Macdermid 55:52

we played them because they're really good. And they're good. But yes, and you're right. I think we'll have a look at that. In fact, James who's on the podcast occasionally did mention that too. So he said it might be a good idea. So we'll we'll have a look at that and see if we can put together a list

Al Struthers 56:03

but in the meantime, well done, mate. Congratulations on crack. Yeah,

Mike Macdermid 56:06

you actually want to and I got one but

Al Struthers 56:09

that doesn't matter. You want the one important one

Mike Macdermid 56:12

morally good job. Thank you, Anton great questions. Again. You know, it's funny how simple the answers were. But how tough it was in my head to process that siren was such an obvious one.

Al Struthers 56:23

Colour lines and Mario Kart eight.

Unknown Speaker 56:26
